In accordance with the edition of the Law of the Republic of Latvia “On Personal Income Tax” dated 01.01.2012, all responsibility for the transaction lies with a company that has a license to purchase scrap metal, which, in accordance with the law, is obliged to transfer income tax in favor of the state in the amount of 10% of amount of purchased scrap metal.
